Personal Data Protection Policy (KVKK)
This Personal Data Protection Policy details how TRON Governance Labs Inc. processes, stores, and protects personal and cryptographic data in compliance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and GDPR guidelines.
Data Processing Principles
We process data only when necessary to provide access to our governance dashboard and simulations. Our primary principles are:
- Processing data lawfully, fairly, and transparently.
- Processing only the minimum necessary data (data minimization).
- Storing data only for as long as required for specified purposes.
- Implementing advanced industry-standard technical security measures.
Cryptographic and Blockchain Data Warning
When utilizing Web3 interfaces, certain data points (such as public wallet addresses, network state, and broadcasted transaction payloads) are stored directly on the public TRON blockchain network. Due to the immutable nature of distributed ledger technology:
- On-chain data cannot be modified, deleted, or removed by this platform.
- Public wallet addresses are public identifiers and should be treated as permanent transaction history.
- By connecting your wallet (e.g., TronLink), you acknowledge that all signed operations will become public records.
Types of Data Processed
Our dashboard processes two main types of data:
- Off-Chain Logging: When you connect a wallet, certain metadata (such as your public wallet address, connected adapter name, configured node host, and estimated balances) may be logged to coordinate active sessions and monitor platform analytics.
- Local Browser Storage: We use local browser storage (such as localStorage) to preserve your preferred network settings and wallet connection intents. This data remains on your local machine and can be cleared at any time.
Your Rights Under KVKK / GDPR
Under Article 11 of KVKK, you possess the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data is being processed.
- Request information if your personal data has been processed.
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used appropriately.
- Know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred (if any).
- Request correction or deletion of off-chain records.
To exercise your rights, please submit an official inquiry to our privacy team at privacy@trongovernance.org.
